Grade 12 or equivalent
Knowledge and skills:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Excellent customer service skills
Communication skills \u2013 fluent in English (any other language would be beneficial

Provide excellent customer service to give customer a great shopping experience
Assist shoppers to find the goods and products that they are looking for Attend to customer queries \/ complaints

2. Cashier duties<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Process cash and card payments<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Process Lay Bys<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Process customer refunds<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Till balancing<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Merchandising<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensure that stock is correctly priced and displayed<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensure product availability of the sales floor<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Housekeeping<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Keeping up to date with promotions<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Risk<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensure that products are tagged in line with the company policy
Participating in stock takes
Be on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent activities and report any suspicious behavior to Management
Consistently live the Ackermans values & policies and procedures in all aspects of your work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
