At RCL FOODS we see and do things differently, we think bigger and smarter. We are currently recruiting for a SHER Intern that will join our Milling Division that is based in Pretoria West. The purpose of this role is to provide students with experience and improve safety on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minimum Requirements
Matric \/ Grade 12<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Diploma in Health & Safety or studying towards one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SAMTRAC (advantageous).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful incumbent will be responsible for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Providing technical support in the improvement, maintenance, and monitoring of existing management systems and standard operating procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensure adherence to all company HSE processes and procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Conducting and compiling routine safety compliance, inspections, and audits against authorizations, guidelines, and legislations, and creating action plans for addressing areas of non-compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Conduct Pro-active planned and unplanned safety inspection and produce reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensuring Fire extinguishers and first aid boxes are compliant (Serviced and not blocked).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Conduct and review risk assessments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Actively compiling information for weekly, monthly, and various reports submissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Schedule and Conduct emergency response drills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Compile information and participate in incident investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ensure that noticeboards display important HSE information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Attend and Write minutes of the HSE statutory meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Assist in driving the CAPAs (Corrective Actions and Preventative Actions) System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
