{"id":222,"date":"2023-06-28T08:06:49","date_gmt":"2023-06-28T08:06:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/focus.creativemindz.co.za\/?p=222"},"modified":"2023-06-28T08:06:50","modified_gmt":"2023-06-28T08:06:50","slug":"unitrans-learnship-program-grade-12","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/focus.creativemindz.co.za\/index.php\/2023\/06\/28\/unitrans-learnship-program-grade-12\/","title":{"rendered":"Unitrans Learnship Program (Grade 12)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>An opportunity has arisen for a Despatch Clerk to assist with scheduling of vehicles using a computerised program to ensure constant cane supply to the mill and to improve vehicle efficiencies in order to reduce cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Matric with a related qualification would be preferable or<br>studying towards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computer Literate (MS Office proficiency in word and excel)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 2 years Practical experience in transport ops<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good understanding of sugar manufacturing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of vehicle dispatch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic understanding of accounting principles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent Communication Skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analytical Skills, Meticulous &amp; Attention to detail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent problem solving abilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to work under pressure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reliable and Dependable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Updating and maintaining the schedule system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gathering information on available cut cane stock,<br>cane transport trucks and loaders to the different<br>cane loading zone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data capturing on scheduling system, including available<br>cut cane, trucks and loaders, truck ETA updates<br>and breakdown<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instruct truck drivers to the next consignment of cane<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimize vehicle efficiencies by sending vehicles to the<br>right loading zone taking into consideration shift changes<br>and ETA&#8217;S of other vehicles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate effectively between the mill control room,<br>cane operations and supervisors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote internal customer service and relations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receive instructions and guidelines from the immediate<br>supervisor and execute accordingly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Applications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/unitrans.erecruit.co\/candidateapp\/jobs\/categories\/\">Apply Online Here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An opportunity has arisen for a Despatch Clerk to assist with scheduling of vehicles using a computerised program to ensure constant cane supply to the mill and to improve vehicle efficiencies in order to reduce cost.
