The key purpose of this role is to load, unload and stack Company products in a safe and productive manner. Operate & Maintain a Forklift Truck, ensure a Safe, Healthy & Risk Free Working Environment. Work in teams to achieve agreed KPI\u2019s and goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Key roles and responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Move palletized materials from specified origin to specified destination<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Stack and unstack palletized material according to set standards<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Accurately account for all product movements carried out<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Refuel and conducts daily FLT inspections according to checklist<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Adhere to safety standards at all times<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Clean up breakages and removes rocker bins<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Carry out daily shift handovers<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maintain housekeeping standards<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maintain safe driving practice<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Adhere to PPE standards<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cross functional teamwork with Packaging operators, PD truck drivers and Security<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Key attributes and competencies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Physically fit, healthy, and good eyesight<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Excellent communication skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Good verbal ability in English<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Good eyesight in both eyes<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Excellent Numeracy skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minimum requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grade 12 with good abilities to read, write and count<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Valid forklift driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Must be certified as competent FLT Driver via a certified body<\/p>\n\n\n\n
