We offer a market related, Total Remuneration Package which allows full flexibility according to your needs, a great work environment and a promise that you won\u2019t be bored as long as you are prepared for a challenge and want to build something great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This position reports to the Customs and Operations Manager.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Verification of tariffs and classification applicable to products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure supplier import \/ export documentation is SARS customs compliant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administration and co-ordination of certificates \/ permits if required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reconciliation of customs clearance instruction vs final clearance and investigate variances, identifying of possible errors and decide if Voucher of Correction is required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reporting and record-keeping of VOCs, refunds, rebates, credits due<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support to Inbound coordinators in compiling of documents for border police and customs interventions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support to finance in the resolution of customs queries, audits, enquiries, etc<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Co-ordination and administration of ad-hoc customs projects and cost-saving initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Attributes required:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Competency in MS Office packages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Competency in Google suite.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to interact with internal &amp; external stakeholders at all levels, excellent oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solutions-oriented, can-do attitude; self-motivated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational and prioritization skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable with change and excellent team player.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable with learning and adapting to new systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate a strong track record of problem solving and solid analytical skill with the capability to find solutions for a variety of operational challenges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Goal driven, target orientated, with the ability to look at the bigger picture, manage ambiguity, and thrive in a truly innovative and complex business environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate exceptional people skills to manage, motivate, and influence work behaviours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>National Senior Certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Formal Import \/ Export training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of customs regulations and finance processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3+ Years\u2019 experience in Import \/ Export &amp;
