Learn how to apply and what the programme offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Closing date<\/strong>: 30 June 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong>: South Africa<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Applications open for YES Programme at Shoprite<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unemployed and unskilled South African youth (aged 18 to 34) are now invited to apply for specialist training and educational programmes at the Shoprite Group throughout the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With youth unemployment at a whopping 63.9%, the Group\u2019s talent attraction and development strategy focuses heavily on providing unemployed youth with early career opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Youth Employment Service is a business-driven initiative with government and labour that builds economic pathways for youth to help reduce unemployment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>South African youth between 18 and 34 years.<br>A South African Matric or equivalent qualification<br>A Retail Readiness Progamme (RRP) qualification<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to apply for one of the Group\u2019s youth development programmes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Send a WhatsApp to 087 240 5709 and select Job Opportunities<br>\u2022 Submit your CV at the nearest Shoprite, Checkers, or Usave supermarkets<br>\u2022 or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shoprite.jobs\/\">visit https:\/\/shoprite.jobs<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>On completion of the programme, successfull YES learners are skilled to work in retail or start their own retail business.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Applications open for YES Programme at Shoprite Share via: The Shoprite YES (Youth Employment Service) Programme is now open and accepting applications from young South Africans who want to gain valuable work experience.
