Hinterland is looking for a General Worker to join our team! As a General Worker you will play and in various work settings such as warehouses, construction sites, and factories. General Workers are responsible for providing essential support to their team members by executing a wide range of manual tasks such as assisting with material handling, equipment maintenance, and overall workspace cleanliness.
What you’ll do
This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.
Load, unload, and process materials
Count, sort, and stack items
Arrange, organize and move equipment
Accept and manage deliveries
Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and vehicles
Wash, sanitize, and perform quality checks on equipment
Use power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts) when needed
Manage garbage disposal and clean all areas
Follow and enforce company policies and procedures
Ensure a clean and safe working environment
Notify supervisors about any issues, faults, or things that don’t meet the standards
Prepare and complete orders according to schedule
Maintain high-quality standards for audits
Conduct weekly stock counts and inventory controls

Experience: General Assistant, General Clerk, General Worker, Store Assistant, Store Associate, Retail, Picker, Packer
English
Within 35km from job
Clear criminal record
