REQUIREMENTS
- Basic Literacy or Grade 10.
- Grade 12 will be an added advantage.
- Driver’s licence will be an added advantage.
- Computer Literate (MS Word, MS Excel) will be an added advantage.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to read and write.
- Skills & competencies associated with vocation: adaptability, communication, conflict & stress management, negotiation skills, problem solving skills, office/diary management skills, strong administrative skills, writing & typing skills.
- 1 year relevant experience as a Petrol attendant and stores within Local Government or similar pressurised environment.
DUTIES
- Issue petrol & diesel for council vehicle by:
- Filling tanks of vehicles
- Keeping record of petrol and diesel usage for stock control.
- Balance petrol and diesel requisitions with log sheet by:
- Comparing information of the pump readings with information from the log sheet.
- Stocktaking of petrol and diesel by:
- Reporting to supervisor when stock is almost finished to order new stock.
- Dip a dipstick in each tank to check the load of stock.
- Perform any other related Ad Hoc task and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
Salary: R142 608.00 p.a. – R156 228.00 p.a. (Level 13 of a Grade 8 local authority)
Total package inclusive of benefits R265 897.52
